The “first generation” of country snapshots collects evidence (as of 2014) on deinstitutionalisation (DI) and care reforms in 11 European countries that were part of the Opening Doors for Europe’s Children campaign in Phase I. The data on children in care in 2014 country fact files has been provided by the Opening Doors National Coordinators and was primarily sourced from the official state sources.
